What do do with old Yahoo board?

I keep getting mail and "digests" from the old Yahoo board. I keep informing those who post there to come here.

Who is still maintaining that old board? Should it be closed?

Yeah I get email from the Yahoo board from time to time. It's actually funny. How many times do you have to tell them to come to this site and post their questions yet they don't. Shut it down it's annoying.

Tomorrow I will see what I can do to stop it. It seems that the instructions to come over here are not read by some. I will see if I can make it inactive to new members or something. Will see what I can do to change the configuration. You can also set profile to no email. I have set it now so only I can post. Let me know in a few days if I have it right. Looks to me that the old messages are copied on this board. I thought they were links. I may be able to just delete the whole board. Dale, let me know if deleting will erase the info. Looks like it can be deleted. Sorry for the problems.

It is off to new members and off to posting. If the messages are copied on this board without a link to the old one I can just delete the group. Let me know how it is set up.

I have already copied over all the Yahoo group messages to this site.

There are no external links to the old Yahoo group, so you can delete it if you wish. I have archived up to message # 825, which is from June 6, 2006. That was a one time project, and I don't intend to bring over any messages after that date.
