I am planning on doing some of the simple winter storage tasks this year... thinks like dealing with the holding tank, fresh water washdown, raw water washdown. I'm looking for some help / checklists on what needs to be done. For example.

Fresh Water Washdown
- pump water out of tank
- pour marine / RV antifreeze into the tank and pump it till it comes out the hose

Head
- pump out all waste
- rinse out tank by running raw water through the system
- pour antifreeze down the head
- run the macerator to get some antifreeze through the system

Raw Water Washdown
- ???

Bilge
- clean out bilge
- remove drain plug (after boat hauled, of course)
- pour some antifreeze into each bilge (fwd and aft)

for the raw water washdown, I disconnect the inlet hose and then attach a clear plastic hose and insert it into jug of RV " pink" antifreeze and then turn the pump on until pink stuff comes out the other end. My pump has plastic fittings and an "O" ring which makes the hose very easy to remove. Takes less than 5 min and a pint of antifreeze.

Good luck

Good for you!
That is an area that many people overlook.
