Roger that. Shelving on inside of door will be for small light stuff such as rigs, hooks, sunglasses, and small light stuff. Agreed not much weight. Seats/storage boxes behind cabin are movable/removable and can be used as seats when ground fishing or wanting to secure cabin door as you mentioned. When under power, i secure door open with bungee cord strapped to railing with foam padding for door to contact on storage boxes. . Cupholders in stern are not even close to being in the way while fishing, They are mounted way underneath but pics are deceiving. One can stand in either corner and bottom fish and still have 6 in to spare for hitting cup holders. trying to make the boat as efficient as possible as will be using for many things. i can add or remove seats behind cabin and/fold down rear seat bracket totally out of the way. This boat will be primarily used for halibut ground fishing, salmon trolling, Clamming, glacier viewing, and hunting bear, moose, sheep, goats, and blacktails in Alaska. Trying to set it up to do everything. Even have gun racks mounted on ceiling in cabin. Towing up in 2024 so trying to get all set up prior to my trip. easier and cheaper to do here than up there.
