I've been reading some old posts, and it seems i can keep it through the scupper hole. I just have to notch the cover so it closes all the way. I really don't want to drill a 1" or larger hole in the back of the transom under the bracket. it just scares me to do that.

how do you guys have the wire from your transducer run? I have a 23 ccdv. and for the past five years, ran it through the scupper. I've got to change that. too much water comes in the back since the scupper won't close. I'm just not too keen on drilling another hole through the transom. just...

We tried getting there last year but after I almost lost my wife overboard in a 5 ft sea, we turned around and said it's not worth it. I think port jeff is about half way for most folks coming from the west and east.

glad it happened. We took a few big rollers that were about 3-4 ft, crashing down hard and said time to turn around. It was due east for us and in the 23 DVCC, it would have taken us over an hour to get there. We didn't leave till 2pm. What time did everyone get there?

How did it go? We couldn't make it out there without getting beat up. Coming from the west with that stiff East wind was rough. Did anyone make it?

we made sure WICC is not conflicting. My wife and I will be in the area fishing in the AM. So we can meet anytime after 11-12 noon. Come as you will. There is no set time. If stonebuster is going to be there around that time, we'll just keep rafting up as more boats show.

They can't do it right for guys at White Water because I had to set up my own after they just put the boat on the trailer, so that's a bunch of BS. Send me a PM and I'll send you some pics of the trailer set up

A boat load of fluke. We had 4 fish between 7-8lbs and a bunch of 5's. Too man throw backs to count. It was a good day and well worth the trip.

Ok. the date is set for this years Rendezvous. Saturday August 21 in the Port Jefferson Harbor Sand pit. Rain date can be Sunday the 22nd. Who can make it?

you just need to move the main roller bars out to the side maybe 6 inches. The boat will be cradled more as well. plus, change that front roller to a V style near the eye. also, how deep do you sink the trailer? the deeper the better. you can also install PVC guide bars when you go that deep...

just spoke with the wife and we are out for sat 14th. 21st or 22nd, which is what we did last year work great. I know not everyone can make the same date but we'll try our best for everyone. Scott

not sure I want to answer this questions without Knocking on wood :) 05 F225 880 hours. I just follow the guide in the book. coming up on the 1000 hour check. I say this all, as I'm going to run the boat on a 75 mile round trip tomorrow. let's hope all goes well.
