Okay so after New Years I will be installing a slam hatch that I will be forming up. Also I like the look of plasdeck. Probably teak with black lines but Parker white would be cool to. I figure I'll put it in the cabin and on the deck. Also the swim bracket might be nice. I love the look of that stuff

castaway customs seadek I presume? That looks sweet, and easy to keep clean. I just had a small castaway custom project done for my inshore skiff. It adds a touch of class!
I like seadeck but real hesitant on a foam floor sense I think I will rip it. That why I'm choosing to go with plasdeck or plasteak.
I just received Plasteak (onyx) in and it is too slick of a surface for my liking. It is more or less the texture of linoleum. I'll be returning it and going with the Plasdeck instead. Just as heads up...
Thank you for the feed back on the plasteak. I definitely want grip
I'll let you know when I get the Plasdeck in just to confirm prior to you spending any money. And the better news is the Plasdeck is cheaper....
The Plasteak is about 1/8" like linoleum and the Plasdeck is about 1/4". She said on phone it is definitely more textured. I'll have it Wednesday and will confirm.

thank you

Got it in and partially installed. You definitely need 2 rolls to finish. They come in 32 foot rollls. Plastek is definitely the way to go. Very good nonslip surface and a little thicker. Cleans and dries easily. Looks awesome.

That does look awesome. I think white lines might be the way to go but not impartial to black. What was ur cost and what areas did u cover?

The white really looked good matching the walls. I was on the fence and tried both black and white and the white won out. Rolls are $280 from Plasdeck plus your shipping cost. All in I'm $600 for the two rolls. No other material is needed.
I'm doing any place where your feet would go inside. Entry path, under table, at helm, and the floor in the birth.

Okay I would like to do the inside of the cabin like u but also the deck and swim bracket. If you have some left hang on to it. I would hate to have to buy a 32ft roll when I only need 5ft. Can't wait to see a final picture. Thanks so Much for the insight.

Need to clean up a couple edges but all in all, I'm happy with how it came out. Takes two 6" x 32' rolls of PlasDeck. Easy to cut w a box cutter and carpet scissors, even easier if you use a scroll saw w a fine blade. I used double sided tape on a few of the corners but otherwise it lays pretty flat.

Man that stuff is nice. Good work

Did a little organizing today at the helm in the electrical panel box

Order a nice boat cover today from nationalboatcovers.com
Came out to be about $1144.00. Talk with the people there. They have Parker in there inventory but the 2530 I think was to small so I got a 2830. I need 2.5ft more. Wish me luck. Also they have discounts going for MLK day so it's actually a $2200 dollar. 10year warranty. The best cover they had.

Working on some side gunnel seats. They will slam down and clear the deck when I'm done. Here are the brackets and the mounts that I glassed in. Used starboard on the seats and bought some cushions on eBay that are on their way.

I like it , adds function and saves space. How is the fishing?

Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
Salmon just starting to pick up and the California halibut have been strong for a couple months now. My fishing start July 15th. Just have to gelcoat those in now and drill the mounting holes. There a nice feature when we get a fish on or need to clear the deck. They slam down and are flush with the gunnel. I'll get some better shots of functionality when there installed probably Wednesday.

Almost done with the gelcoat
