I have been following this thread and your boat looks great. As someone else mentioned, I am amazed at your ability, energy and how much you were able to accomplish since Sept/October.
I had a question I am hoping you can help with - on page 3, you hung your type 4 PFD on the rear of the pilot house - do you recall if you through bolted the bracket or used screws and what size did you use? I am hesitant to screw any holes but in this case if I want to keep the PFD out of the way but 'handy' - this looks to be the best spot and it looks pretty good.
Thanks for your help, larry

It is thru bolted....3 - 10/24 machine screws and nylon lock nuts.

Be careful here. Don't measure from the side of the pilothouse. Use a framing square and establish a centerline off the deck.

The sides of the pilothouse are not straight up and down.

1st pix if you look close, you can see the Red line. That is where it runs in the water. It's to hight.

Mounted in the 3rd hole. Suzuki wants 6 bolts holding the motor on. They even supply special washer plates.

It's in the process of being built. It will be loaded with stuff...... So much so that I finally found a place that sold 2 1/2in Rigging hose by the Foot.

This is a lay down unit. It will not flip toward the front, like some do.

Sorry about the Crappy Cell phone pix.....I didn't have my camera with me.
