Selling my 1997 2110 walkaround well below market. I have had a problem with water in the gas 2 times and guessing it needs a new tank and honestly its not something I am looking to be involved in. In the meantime I have been running off auxiliary tank for the season. Has a 2018 Evinrude ETEC...
I would not run a straight tube. If you get a fuel line leak the possibility exists that you could siphon your gas into the bilge without even knowing it. If you are worried about it failing keep an extra on board. They are less that $10.
Thank you all for the information. The sending unit is new along with new gasket. The tank vent is new and yes has large loop in hose above vent. I cant justify spending $4K to $6K on a new tank. I am getting quotes for a above deck aluminum tank that will fit in the splash well between the back...
Sending unit is new and no visable water can be seen on top of tank through pie plate. Source of gas is reputable marina and supplies gas for hundreds of boats each week and no one on the dock has had an issue. Great suggestion for pressure test. Thanks

Mattys010 I have a 97 2110 located in Poer Jefferson with a 2018 150 Evinrude etec g2 under warranty until 5/23. I would part with it for $27K. If you are interested message me
Top was on boat when I bought it so not sure where it came from. After 4 boats this was the first with a hardtop and I don't think I would go back to canvas top again.
