    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

Imo you are looking for smooth and clean of carpet fibers. The red glue is somewhat irrelevant. The gel coat will cover it and stick.

    Sold So Cal 2520XL

I have decided to sell my amazing 2004 2520XL mod-V Parker. The boat is in excellent condition and ready to go. With the XL cabin, there is lots of room inside to stay out of the weather, and a huge deck out back. The tower up to has seating for 2-3 and full controls to drive from. The tandem...

    Fuel consumption

Yep channel islands. The twin engines is a game changer in our channel. Lots of extra power when it's needed.

    Fuel consumption

That's a difficult question to answer because if im going slower is usually because of conditions. And yes I'll burn more gas in bad conditions. 1.4 to 1.6 if I'm 21 to 25mph. Anything below that and I'm dropping iff plane and my mpg goes into the tank. I never get more than 2, once i get...

    Fuel consumption

I have a 2004 2520 modv with the garmin inline fuel flow meters, running twin 200s. I get 1.8 to 2.0 mpg when i set the engines at 3700 rpms (sweet spot). Running speed at that rpm is about 30mph. That is optimal for me, but conditions do not always allow it.

    2004 Yanaha 200 HPDI

Fuel injectors? If the boat sat for a period of time they get clogged up from the ethanol in the gas... or they may just be old. Swap those.

    Window Hardware 2004 2520scxl

I need to replace a number of window dogs / latches on my 2004. Cecil marine appears to have them... at an OUTRAGEOUS price... http://www.cecilmarineonline.com/parker-window-latch/ http://www.cecilmarineonline.com/window-dog-latch-handle-stb-side-239995/...

    Yamaha fuel flow meter

Quick update on this: Thanks for all the advice. New GFS-10's installed and NEMA buss extended to the helm. Everything is working great. There are some additional connections to wire in the tank fuel level sending unit. It seems like the best plan would be to extend wires into the helm and...

    2530 Repower Options: F150s vs. F200?

I'm running a 2520 with twin 200's and like Cap'n Dan, I usually set them at about 3900RPM and cruise at 30-32MPH. Running full throttle I can get them to 5600 RPM and up to about 48 MPH. Conditions almost never allow this.... Nice to see my numbers are pretty spot on with Cap'n Dan's setup. I...

    HELP Cabin Carpet Removal

I thought I would add a few notes to this thread. as I am currently working on this exact project. The prep work is key and it sucks... plan on 5 times the "demo and prep" time as the paint time. Chemical glue stipping didn't work well... 80 grit sand paper on a orbital sander worked for the...
