For those that have replaced their tanks, how did you determine it needed to be changed out?

Anyone have one for the 21SE. 2018 model year. Not sure how much they change from year to year.

I was talking to my Yamaha Tech and they mentioned it was not a good idea to run on both as the engine is then having to account for different electrical inputs and could cause more harm than good...he said the preference would be to only run them one at a time.

You mention that you changed the thermostat twice in 1,000 hours. How many seasons of use did this equate to? I ask as I have done mine every other year regardless of hours, and the thermostat does look very clean each time. But for a few bucks, figure it gives me peace of mind...and not...

I have a 21SE and I would say it does everything you are looking for. I have gone out mostly inshore but have hit some huge swells in Buzzards Bay, RI, and the south islands as well as Cape Cod Bay, Boston Harbor, etc. And on those nicer days, I have taken the kids and wife to local beaches...

I bought a used 21SE there a couple years back and the staff was awesome. Took care of me and would highly recommend.

I have a 21 SE so no freshwater system onboard but yes. Besides the two I mentioned, I also insert a tube into the bilge pump exit hole and allow antifreeze to flow into that system as well. You can see the pink fluid build up in the tubing and also any excess will flow through the pump.

I used to use a homemade fake a lake to suck up anti-freeze into the livewell and washdown hose tubing, but this year, noticed that I could unscrew the livewell aerator spray head and stick a small silicone tube into the fitting. I then let gravity do the work and poured anti-freeze into it...

Great boat, I also have the 21SE. Without the splashwell, where are your batteries stored? So far, I have had to replace the bolts under the step ladder as none of them were SS. Completely rusted and left stain marks on the ladder platform. The rest appear to be ok.

I have a Shakespeare Antenna, style 5206-N. If you look at the pdf, the nylon ferrule cracked and the antenna mast separated from that part. Any suggestions on how to repair? Wondering if just a strong adhesive would take care of it...
