Shakespeare Antenna Mast issue

I have a Shakespeare Antenna, style 5206-N. If you look at the pdf, the nylon ferrule cracked and the antenna mast separated from that part. Any suggestions on how to repair? Wondering if just a strong adhesive would take care of it.

It doesn’t looks mechanically fastened, so use adhesive and press fit it.

A better built antenna and easier to replace coax cables are made by Digital
