    SOLD - 2001 Parker 23SE w/ Yamaha 200 HPDI - SOLD

After nine years of owning my 23SE I've decided to sell it and move into something smaller. The boat is a 2001 Parker 23SE with 2001 Yamaha 200 HPDI. Excellent condition, motor runs great. Recently had all maintenance performed (water pump, filters, lower unit gear oil and spark plugs)...

23 se Thru hull transducer. Anyone have a photo

Here are the pics. I would think there is room for a thru hull ducer behind the shelf and on the port side. Gary

23 se Thru hull transducer. Anyone have a photo

I have a 2001 23SE and the shelf is used to hold the oil tank for my 2-stroke. I'm guessing the shelf is still there for the oil tank even though the boats are coming out of the factory with 4-strokes. I'll try to get a pic this weekend if you still need it. Gary

    Leak?

I had a similar problem on my 2001 23SE. It turned out the livewell drain was leaking where it connects to the hose under the livewell itself. There is an access hole under the livewell for the plumbing to run through and unfortunately this is also over the gas tank. The water was dripping onto...

FL craigslist, looks like a mint 25 cabin for 12k

Very interesting. I noticed at the very bottom of the ad it says the pictures are from 2004. Hopefully a typo. It also says the motor is 2002, but does not say the year of the boat. Also kinda strange they have pictures of dolphins and the wake, but not the inside of the boat.

Bottom paint vs armoredhull boat shield

I'm not a big fan. The armoured hull works by creating a tub for the boat to sit in and then you add chlorine to the tub to kill whatever is trapped inside of it. When you want to use your boat you dump the tub and all that chlorine you were using to kill growth goes into your local waters. Sure...

    Pics of my 23se

Very nice. Looks like The Boathouse in Beaufort. I used to keep my 23SE just a few docks down to the west, on the other side of the public ramp. I'm in Atlantic Beach now.

are 200 hpdi engines any good?

I have a 2001 HPDI on my 23SE and a buddy has a pair of 150's on his Grady-White (also 2001's). We love them. They run great, few problems and great reputation. They don't care much for ethanol fuel, so avoid it if you can. Be sure to change your filters regularly, including the VST, and you...

    gunwale thickness

I installed under gunwale LED lights on my 23SE, but I did not need to drill any holes. The LED strips came with double sided tape already attached, so I just stuck them underneath the gunwale. In between each strip I have an adhesive piece of plastic used to connect zip ties to, which I used to...

    Is yamalube worth it?

A couple of years ago someone on The Hull Truth had a great post about this subject. He had twin outboards on is boat and he ran Yamalube in one motor and Penzoil semi synthetic in the other. After X number of hours he pulled the plugs and posted pictures of them. There was noticeably less...

    Changing the fuel filter element

I'm with Bryan on this one. Your motor may start right up without priming the filters, but air in the fuel line is going to wear the diaphragm in the low pressure fuel pumps and eventually cause a tear. At least that's what my mechanic told me when I had a tear in the diaphragm of one of my low...

Load Rite 5,200lb adequate for 23SE?

I think that's a great decision. I think the extra $700 is worth the piece of mind you'll have knowing you have the right trailer for years to come. Gary

Load Rite 5,200lb adequate for 23SE?

I think I would shop around some and get an idea of what a larger trailer goes for. IMO a 150 mile haul sounds like a ways when you're borderlining the weight limit.
