Had a similar problem on my 2120. Check the anti-syphon valve where it connects to the fuel tank. Mine was partially clogged so it only caused problems at WOT. I temporarily replaced it with a pass-through valve to make sure that was the problem, and it worked fine with the pass-through. I...

Tried a friends Saltwater Series 15 1/4 X 17 SS and really loved the way it handles my 2120. Went to check out prices on the web and I see a Saltwater Series and a Saltwater Series 2. They seem to have the same specs and benefits. Anyone know what the difference is? Thanks. Steve

I have a 2005 2120 w/ F200 4-stroke and only get 38 MPH at 6000 RPMs with 300 lbs of passengers and 1/2 tank of fuel. I'm going to check the prop, but I believe it is a 15 x 17 as well. The bottom is painted, but I can't believe it would reduce the speed that much.

Where exactly is the little hole on this motor that is used to show the boat speed? My gauge shows "0" so I'm sure it is clogged. But I can't find it. Thanks. Itguy

I'm not at all suprised the ASV was clogged - that's what happended to me. You can pick one up at West Marine. Make sure it is a Moeller!!! Itguy
