If I hit a wave my tranducer loses reading. The only way to get my reading back is to turn off then back on. Is this normal.

My old garmin has retired.It was a 162. I am looking at a Garmin 3206. I would appreciate if someone who has this unit could tell me if they like it. My concern is that the unit has been discontinued.The up side is that it is half the price of its replacement. Thanks

I have a 19 foot capehorn with a 200hp johnson. I am thinking about repowering with a 150etec. How much top end speed will i lose .I always belive in maxing out the hp but in this case the 150 is a very good deal. Will trimtabs make up for any of the 50hp.
