I am looking to sell my 2015 Parker 2320 SL with a Yamaha F300 (749 hours) plus 9.9hp kicker. I love the boat and hate to see it go, but I ended up getting a good deal on a 32-foot Farallon I couldn’t pass up. This boat was purchased near Seattle, Washington last year and the previous two owners...
Unfortunately, I have an older 6X6 DEC control (2015) so it won't be a plug and play. This is a bit more involved than I was hoping and looks like the rigging will run up quite a bit more $$. May be a while before I get back around to it.
I discussed with the local Yamaha dealer and they said that we would need to purchase the new digital fly-by-wire controls unless we can find the older model used. The new control would need to be sync'd with the older electric control via a computer program once hooked up so when using one...
I am going to be talking to a Yamaha dealer tomorrow to see what I can do. Hoping I can just get an older throttle control similar to the one that is on the boat currently or maybe just upgrade to one new one and use the older one for the rear helm.
What do you like more about the new throttle...
I am looking to do the same thing on my 2015 2320. I already have a rear helm steering station set up but the throttle control is for the 9.9 kicker. I would like to add another electronic throttle control to the rear helm for the main F300. But I don't have those new fancy DEC controls in the...
I am wanting to add throttle controls to the rear helm (in the cockpit) outside the cabin. I have both a 2015 F300 (maybe 2014 since my Parker 2320 is a 2015) and 9.9 kicker, and the rear helm steers BOTH motors but the throttle control only controls the 9.9 kicker. I want to add a throttle...
I just purchased a 2015 2320 without a pulpit, bow roller, or windlass. I am installing a bow roller (with a butt block beneath to thru bolt) and a Samson post behind it (also thru bolted to the butt block) for tying off the anchor. I will not be going with a windlass and feel this set up should...
I ended up going with Uship but will keep that in mind for next time (naming my price and letting them bid around it). Got it here for $2300. Boat arrived in one piece and the guy was very good that I dealt with. Was looking at getting a lowboy but the trailer was in good condition so the trip...
Wow, that's a deal! I did Uship as well and got it here for $2300. He had to drive it through some bad weather so glad everything went okay. The boat is here and I am going through some things before we put it in the water.
I will be storing the anchor on the bow roller so either a plow of claw type should be okay. My only concern with a plow style is that I will be using it in rocky areas quite often but also some mud/sand (which is where a plow type is superior). I was thinking a 16lb anchor with 30' of 3/8"...
Hey All,
What style of anchor do you all run? I am going to be installing a bow roller (no pulpit) and samson post behind the roller but am curious what kind of anchor do you guys find works best on your Parkers. Mine will be on a 2320 and will be anchoring in sand, mud, and rocky bottoms. Here...
Thanks, A-K!
I reached out to IPYS to see if they would work with me for finding a shipper, for a fee of course since I did not purchase the boat through them.
Hey All,
I have officially closed on a 2015 2320! I'm stoked and cant wait to get it down here to SoCal from near Seattle, WA. I am in touch with a shipping company but they are having a bit of trouble finding a trucker with a lowboy trailer. We want to put the boat and trailer on a lowboy...
$3.4K - Gov Newsom 😂 I am in that same boat (no pun intended!)
I am curious who you used to ship the boat? I am in the process of purchasing a 2015 2320 from Washington (actually just sent payment today!) and working with a shipper but wouldn't mind having other options in case this one...
Thanks for the detailed response. I think I will do what all you guys say and just use the flush port and not overthink this. Might use Salt Away too from time to time.
