I wonder if I could still wax the bottom but leave out all of the wet sanding. I want to do everything I can to protect the gelcoat but I like the idea or the rough bottom adding a little speed. I also like the idea of not having to do all of the friggin wet sanding!!!

Haven't done anything to the rub rail yet. I have a few other things going right now that I want to finish first.

Mid 30's would be an underestimate for your rig. I cruise 35-38 with the F250 on my 25. I bet you would be closer to thirty. Good luck either way. Matt

Thanks. You should see it now that the bottom paint has been removed and the buff job is done. Once I replace the rubrail you will not be able to tell the hull is a day over five years old. Unless you know what you're looking for that is. I'll post pics later tonight when I get home. Matt

Any ideas what I should look for once I get down to the glass. I have never seen it with my own eyes but I'm sure there are tell tale signs of water intrusion that would indicate a deeper porblem. Thanks Matt

Megabyte...... The cracks are so inconspicuous that I think even my 6 megapixel camera would have trouble showing them. They are definately there but there are enough other "blemishes" that I think it would be difficult to show them on here. DaleH..... Yes to your trailering question. It...
