I did this on my prior Parker very easy, move both batteries and the battery switch to the console then run 1 each positive and negative cable to the transom where I installed 2 Blue Seas power posts to join the new cables to the cables from the motor. I would also advise having the cables made...
Is the 200 as bad as the 225 as far as the corrosion situation is concerned? Seems as though every thread I read of this problem the owner has a 225? My 21SE has a very low hour 2004 F200 so I guess I will be using a borescope when I pull the lower off for a water pump this spring.
I would feel the same way, however Contender, Bluewater and others drain the fish boxes stright into the bilge also, I think the idea is better to do this then deal with constatnt replacement of the macerator pumps.
Can't blame the owner, the marina was supposed to pull it 2 weeks ago but they did it yesterday, believe it or not the fools made it to the next inlet to the south (app 6miles).
I just went out and measured mine, they are 12X12 and they work great.Tabs are a much needed item on a 21SE and while I'm very satisfied with mine if I was doing a fresh install I would put on larger tabs like the poster above.
Holds 40 gallons of fuel
If you look in the classifieds of On The Water a company advertizes for windshields I'm sure they would be cheaper than getting one from Parker.
At my local dealer prices for replacemnt Parker parts are insane.
Just what I'm looking for, if you were closer I'ld pick it up tomorrow, however it's time to fish and there is no time to travel to NC to pick it up. In the unlikely event that you still have this later in the year I'll take a road trip.
I have a 2004 Parker 21SE and have lost the stand pipe for the factory installed livewell, as I am primarily a live bait fisherman this is a problem, I have set something up for temp. use but want to replace what was there, the thread pitch is odd (not NPT). Anyone know where these might be...
I sold my18 and replaced it with a 21SE this winter and the difference is night and day, I owned the 18 for 6 years and really liked the boat but the 21 with an F200 is sooooo much nicer.
Good luck with your new ride. I recently sold my 1800 and purchased a 21SE with an F200, the difference is unbelievible, just 3 trips so far but I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine.
I don't see why you would consider a power winch for this combo. I had that same boat/motor setup with a 40gal livewell and usually a load of ice and stripers and it would crank right onto the trailer with a 2300# manual winch.
