I did just find this on the Taco web site.
"Handy Hank’s Tip: As a rule of thumb, if the hard top is strong enough to walk on, it is usually strong enough to mount an outrigger on it.

The plates are 4x6. I was going to pick up some aluminum plates. But it needs a 3'' hole in the center and Im not sure what to use to make the hole.
BTW it sure was un-nearving cutting two 3'' holes in my roof
Thanks for you feed back
I just installed a pair of Taco Grand Slam outriggers. They are top mounted. I did not use a backing plate. The roof of my 2120 SC seemed like it was very thick and solid. Does anyone have these installed on there boat? Do you think I need the backing plates?
Thanks TJay
Here is a sad story. Happened last night.
Pray for the family of the little boy and his family.
SAN DIEGO — An 8-year-old boy was killed and five others were injured, some seriously, when a Coast Guard vessel responding to an emergency call struck a pleasure boat during the San Diego Bay...
Mine is always about 3/4 towards the hot.
Seems to run fine. I wish it was more toward the middle.
2006 Yamaha 150. I changed the impeller (it looked fine)
It that normal?
TIA TJay
I just noticed that the trim tab on my Yamaha 150 is missing. Looks easy to replace and only about $20.00. But how do you adjust it. I remember the old on was a little off center. Do you just point the boat straight and see if it goes left or right and then move the tab to compensate?
Has anyone...
