    Pacific Northwest Parker

Kevin, It was your post about the railings that inspired me to make the introduction. I'm 6'6" and those rails have save my butt a few times. They also keep the downriggers at a comfortable height.

    Pacific Northwest Parker

Figured it was about time that I introduced myself and our Parker. We have a 1991 2310 WA MV powered by a 1991 Johnson 175hp. We mainly do our boating in Barkley Sound BC fishing for Salmon, Lingcod and Halibut. Great forum, thanks for past and future info!

    2520 XL

Can anyone tell me what the total length of the 2520 XL on a trailer would be. I know trailers may vary. I'm starting plans for a shop and want to make sure I build it deep enough for my upgrade from 2310 (open transom) to the 2520 XL. Thanks in advance!

    Thinking about a 2310...

I've got a 2310 MV and 225 would be more than enough IMHO. If your talkin DV then I might think about 250 although the 225 will probably work just fine. I like to cruise at 4000-4400 and don't believe in workin the motor real hard plus I like the idea of spare power.

Adjusting a Parker to your trailer

RONNIE, I own a 1991 2310 WA MV(it has parker written on it, I even checked the vin# with Robin to make sure). I purchased the boat w/out trailer. I bought a trailer and I put the boat on the trailer and towed it home, had towing issues. I also couldn't move the winch bracket any further...

Adjusting a Parker to your trailer

I think all boats and trailers will be a little different so if it were mine I'd start working the axle(s) back till you had required tongue weight. There's a lot of thing that play in to it, how much gear you keep stored aboard etc.

    MV vs. DV For Offshore

My 2310 has a 14 degree MV. The XL hull is 16 degree. Has anyone noticed any diffrence between these two. I would think they are to close to notice.
