Low Battery Alert on VHF and readings from batteries

All good info. Can someone please explain the BEP cluster? Please forgive my ignorance. I’ve always used a switch for ‘off, 1, 2 or both’. Always open to upgrading and improving. Cheers

    Parker 2320 (225 vs 250 vs 300)

If it’s a factory install AC unit I would leave it in the boat. You will use it one day and it will make a difference in resale. Beautiful boat and loaded! Enjoy :)

    Sureshade Installation

Thanks FlowThru1. Good info. I too have been unable to get the folks at SureShade to explore ideas to raise the mounting height of their top for head clearance. Very responsive at first until I raised this issue. It's great to have an alternative as the retractable top seems to be the way to...

    Sureshade Installation

I think I have found a solution to he head clearance issue and a lot less expensive than the SureShade (which is an amazing product and was my first choice). Check out: https://www.bocashade.com/parker2120sc This shade is retractable and the spacers fasten directly to the grab rails on the...

    Sureshade Installation

Thanks for sharing. I too have been talking with SureShade. Seems like a high quality product. My concern is head clearance. The spacers installed on your boat are 2"? SureShade advises they can provide a 3" spacer. However, it's not high enough above the rear deck to avoid hitting your head on...

Beautiful. That’s everything she’s built for right there! Cheers

    Bottom paint?

I've never been crazy about the way bottom paint looks. In addition, if buying used, I'm willing to pay a lot less for a boat that is left in a salt water slip for for the season rather than cleaned up and stored on a lift or trailer (out of the sun) after each use. Just my 2 cents. Cheers

    Bugs and Spiders

Put a little 'Bifin IT' on a rag and wipe it around the rod holders that leave an open hole into the pilot house. This is the main access for bugs to enter the cabin. They hate this stuff. Especially spiders. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Control-Solu ... b09e3d5864 We also have our boathouse...

    2120SC Replacement Pedestal

I've had two 2120's. I replaced both factory pedestals with a 'seaspension' seat post. The bolt holes line up perfectly. The cost of the seaspension post has really jumped after Taco marine purchased the company. They are still worth it if you run in ruff water. It changes the boat, for the...

    Need Boat Delivery Contacts

I just used Chad Byce with Priority Transport LLC to bring a G23 Nautique down from Fort Wayne IN. He did a great job. He's out of SC. 864-844-2171 I found him on U-ship. Good luck. Cheers

    Making her shine

West marine 'cleaner wax'. Can't beat it.

    2320 Replacement Helm Seat

I did the Springfield ladder back captains chair with the seaspension seat post. Much more comfortable than the stock set up. I also did a 'black friday' sale through west marine. I now have my eye on the new Parker captains chair with the flip up bolster. Everything about this new set up is...

Rat getting into my 18 Parker!

Try a small transistor radio. It works great for raccoons and snakes. Not sure about rats. Cheers

After Market options for Pilothouse Seats

I have purchased two from Chris at Cool Water Products over the years for both of my 2120's. They bolt right in place and change the boat in rough water. He's a good guy and great to deal with. 941-375-1369

    2120 cabin squeak

Response from Eric at Parker: Joe, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I would check the screws that fasten the back wall of the cabin to the ledger strip at the bottom. The screws are behind the poly trim on the outside. Regards, Eric Denton Engineering Parker Marine Ent...

    2120 cabin squeak

I'm going to forward this thread to Eric Denton at Parker to see if he has any insight. Seems to be a common problem. He's always been great at getting back to me. Hopefully more to come soon. Cheers

    2120 cabin squeak

I appreciate the responses. I've ruled out cabin door, bench seat, wiring behind the chase in the corner of the cabin etc. I think Brent nailed it. It sounds exactly like what you describe. I wonder if this would be considered part of the Parker hull warranty. I would rather the dealer make...

    2120 cabin squeak

I have a 2012 2120 that has a port side cabin squeak that is most noticed with the cabin door shut running in chop. Is sounds as if something is rubbing 'squeaking' and not secured properly. I have a friend with an 05 2120 that makes the exact same noise in the same location. Just curious if...

    Seaspension vs. ProPedestal?

I'm on my second 2120 and second seaspension. The pedestal changes the boat in rough water. Can't speak to the other model but no issues with the seaspension. It was worth the investment. Cheers
