Looking forward to the finished result. I must admit I would like the finish to be smooth but am not sure how that could be achieved.
Maybe grind down to the glass then fair and prime with hi build primer. But then would have to paint it I guess
just wondering why carpet is so predominant in boats rather than foam backed marine vinyl.
I hardly see cars with carpet all over the doors and ceiling.
Surely smooth vinyl would be easier to maintain/clean

Hi those with these rv roof mounted type airconditioner units... how do they hold up to the marine environment..i thought they would have corroded very quickly ???
Hi Captain Kevin...which model binnacle is that on your cockpit helm...is set up one lever for gear and one for throttle or does each lever serve a dual purpose..thanks

if controls on the cobia tower are beyond budget...might be an idea to use low power walkie talkies or even better have an intercom system between the cabin and the tower...just a thought ....
