just bought a 2005 23se for 26,000 well equipped wih radar etc... thought it was a good deal. Traded my 2006 25DVSC last year for 50,000.
I think your boat should be in the 25-32,000 range...

Does anyone have experience with a deep-V 21 center console??
I had a 23SE in the past which was very stable fishing the rips in montauk but was a hard ride in a chop. I have the opportunity to purchase a 21 DV CC and wonder how much stability I will be sacrificing and whether the ride in a...
I believe that the hull draft is 16" and with motors down only about 24"
Seems very similar to all other Parkers, they all are within about 4-6"

Don't knock the single F250 with a notched transom. I fish some really rough rips in montauk with ease, also the simplicity of one engine for maintenance and winterization is excellent. Plenty of power as well. Docking with a bracket can be a pain in the ass....boat is squirrely...
OK....

Wow, I can't believe that I actually accidentally started a thread about anchoring stern to.
I DRIFT fish the montauk rips stern to the rip....NOT ANCHOR.
Actually, one of the scariest fishing days happend to me on a friends boat when, while anchored from the bow pulpit, the tide changed...
I've had a 23SE with a notch and now 2520DVSC with a notch. Fishing montauk with my stern to some really huge rips has never been a problem.
One advantage to the notched transom is easier tight quarters maneuverablilty over bracketed motor. Good Luck.
The baitwell is the same as the one that I had on my previous Parker 23SE, works great and doubles as a seat. I can put a 40 lb striper in there and keep him alive!! Usually I get back to the dock with all my catch in there and don't need any ice. It is kind of funny offloading all live fluke...
