    1998' 2520 tank replacement

Finally replaced the tank in my 2520. I emailed Parker and they sent me the dimensions of the original tank in my mod V, after measuring to confirm and making adjustments on the placement of the gauge and ports I had the tank made. I also shortened the tank 6" overall to make it easier to drop...

    2520 new fuel tank

Hello, My 1998 2520 needs a fuel tank, I have a question on installation that someone may be able to help with. The factory was kind enough to send me the dimensions of the original Tank, it is 96" long and that puts it well under the cabin door to the front bulkhead. I was planning on cutting...

    lesson learned

Hello, Life has kept me off the Parker for several years but getting back to it, nowadays it is behind my home on a lift. Taking friends out recently, I cracked the front window because it was not locked in the grove, be sure to lock your windows in the slots so this doesn't happen. I was able...

    2520 on lift?

I have a 98' 2520MV and have the opportunity it keep it on a lift, the canal is pretty shallow and will probably have to use straps instead of rails in order to get it on and off. Anyone know if strap lifts ok to use on these boats?

    OX66 oil linkage

Can't...

    2520 Cavitation issues

Our 1998 2520 modified V has issues with cavitation when running with seas or passing other boats in their wake. It's really nice to pass someone only to have to stop to loose the cavitation! The boat has the original motor (OX66 225), an Armstrong bracket and a SS prop with 17-M stamped on...

    photo section

Was not sure where to post this, is there was a photo section here? Anyway, if anyone was wondering if a Kubota BX2200 will pull a Parker 2520 - it will! should probably have attach the loader first to add weight to the front end. Add a caption to this!

    Raymarine DS600X issue

Raymarine DS600X does not show readings of depth, fish, etc. it does show the water temp, speed and location. The image or lack of, is in color and appears like surface clutter with no bottom, number indicator just flashes two blank spaces, tried switching frequency, no difference. If I go to...

    hated owner

Fueling up the 2520 Friday evening a guy walked by and stated "I don't know you but knowing you own that Parker makes me hate you" offering him some relief I replied that "filling it up was not the happy part or ownership" : ) This is how they do it in Australia

    new type scupper

I have noticed a few photos of newer Parkers with what looks to be a wider, oval type scupper. I think I'd like to upgrade to this type of scupper but have not found much information on them to make an informed decision. Our 98' 2520 has no problem with water backing in and I would like to...

    In the Gulf

Headed out in the Gulf of Mexico Sunday morning, we ran 30 mph as the water was like glass. Caught a 24" & 30" Gag Grouper before 10:00 am. Plenty of undersized red grouper and spanish mackerel. Also included a photo of the scallops we were getting last August.
