    Jackplate on a 1801?

You are right, but what I was referring to was if you have maxed your height on your bracket out, played with props and were curious to know if the motor could also be placed on a JP then yes. Otherwise most people don’t touch the factory set heights bc the manufacturer declared it was optimal...

    18 CC or 18 SE ?

If you look closely the cap is all one piece. Look at the stern boxes and deck, it’s a 1 px mold and they save money and mass produce them. Lame!

    18 CC or 18 SE ?

Exactly, also they aren’t as well built. They just drop a liner down into the hull and the boat is completed. A 3 pc hull is a hull deck and cap, and the liner makes interior space much less and the access is horrible, and there is no toe kick. Not my kind of boat. I prefer 3 pc boats all day

    Jackplate on a 1801?

It sounds like what I predicted with the engine height of these hulls. I had a hunch awhile back and raised my engine up to max height and could still see my AC plate under the water on plane. The boat responded a lot better and still felt it could go higher. These aren’t designed for speed but...

    18 CC or 18 SE ?

It looks like a 2 pc hull. I wouldn’t even bother buying that. I has a liner therefore to me it’s not a true Parker hull. Composite is great but when they are mass producing them with molded liners, I draw the line. The toe kick is eliminated. Idk to me it doesn’t look like a Parker, starting to...

1801 & Minn Kota Riptide Terrova Quest

Wow that is a massive bracket. I choose rhodan and yes have had a few problems. But I had the motor back in service with a quick call and a shipped part.

2019 1801C and my transom is separating from the hull.

Like mentioned above, this is not. Difficult repair and the transom is still solid I would bet money that it will continue to remain solid for years to come even if you just added some marine sealant to the crack, I wouldn’t advise you to do this but the point I’m driving at is that the fix is...

2019 1801C and my transom is separating from the hull.

That’s another fact as well. I would never buy a new Parker after Linwood sold the Parker business to venture capitalists and not industry fisherman minded individuals

2019 1801C and my transom is separating from the hull.

The glass layers over the Top of your coring “plywood” have developed a common stress crack, I had this on my boat but not to this extent when I purchased my 2004 Parker back in 2017. I had it professionally repaired and regelcoated. You can fix this, you would have to grind the crack out, and...

    Wheelhouse/doghouse build

In lieu of some of the concerning comments regarding the SEAVIEW products and failing powder coat on their aluminum mounts I took the liberty to personally call them before going through the hassle of mounting this system to my wheelhouse that I spent hundreds of hours building. I spoke to a...

    Suzuki DF150A Parker 1801

That sounds about right! Enjoy retirement and I hope you get the boat you deserve. I hope I get there one day too

    Suzuki DF150A Parker 1801

Inreach, epirb, 4-8ft dcs vhf icom, life raft debatable but probably a good idea. Buddy boats, radar, and a few good weather apps are what you would want. People do it all the time. Just gotta know when to head in and when it’s too rough. Most of the time getting out of the inlet is probably the...

    Suzuki DF150A Parker 1801

When it comes to it, if my motor ever blows up or reaches the point where the parts aren’t worth the effort I will most likely repower my hull with a 140-150hp. I prefer the 150hp as it’s a bigger block and more torque were I need it. I have set my boat up to be able to run offshore nearshore on...

Woodys wax or collinite. I have powder coated trolling motor steering box. Rinse it and keep it coated

    Wheelhouse/doghouse build

We shall see. I see a lot of people with them. Stainless was deff more. Cost benefit for me. The radar was 2500 and the SEAVIEW another 300 so I tried to keep it reasonable

    Wheelhouse/doghouse build

Finally received my radar dome bundle with xsv plotter. It will be mounted on SEAVIEW 5inxh forward learning mount. Completes the job and adds essential tool for offshore nearshore tuna trips this summer. Last things are eprib, plb and some odds and ends. Getting a nice vhf antenna to add...

    21se Trolling Motor Project

I suppose it would, I don’t like to charge my batteries with it plugged in and sometimes I may forget to disconnect the plug since it hidden, in this case your charging the batteries with the unit on, which will cause the board to fail rather quickly. All it takes is a single time and it...
