I had the same problem last season with the addition of a few blisters. If you are going to strip the hull I would definitely recommend that you barrier coat the bottom. It is a bit of work but nothing that an average person could not handle. Good luck.

I would definitly barrier coat your boat. I have a 2004 2520xl and my first blisters were dicovered last summer. This spring I will be putting on the barrier coat. FYI

I had the same problem with my sea star steering on the engine. The leak got worse and I nonticed some corrision on the stainless steel piston. I took pictures of the unit showing the corrosion and e-mailed them to sea star and they sent me a new unit free of charge. Good Luck

I have the same problem with my window frames on my 2004 2520XL. I have used Woodys Wax and it has curbed the pitting and helped restore the frame some what, but it is expensive

I e-mailed them yestarday and they agreed to send me a new unit. I'll have to trand sell it or get credit from the dealer I bought it from.
