    DV motor level on notch

Eric at Parker says it should be mounted on hole #2 from the top. I am not at the boat right now but I think that is where it is mounted. Think I will try one more hole down to raise it a little. I still have a stock prop. Does any one have any recommendations for a better prop on the 2310...

    Re-Powering w/ Yamaha 250

I repowered my 2310 from the ox 66 to the F250 as well. This is the f250 model before the newest 4.2l. My boat wants to list to port on plane, even using standard 12 x 12 tabs I can't push the starboard bow down enough to completely compensate. I am using the 17T black painted prop. Does any...

    Abacos trip

Planning a trip to the Abacos for July. A friend is taking his 44 ft Regal from Savannah, Ga to Stuart, Fl. and then across to the Bahamas. Am considering tagging along on my 2310. Do you guys think the 2310 is too small a boat to make the trip? Has any one made the trip on a 2310 or 2320? I...

Boat listing and Trim tab question

I checked and the prop is 13 3/4 x 17 black stainless prop. Is the leaning to port due to a bend in a prop blade or some other characteristic of the prop?

Boat listing and Trim tab question

Oops sorry to misspell your name Bryan. I just realized of course this is a stainless prop but not one of the high end shiny polished models. GoodChance, thanks for the tab info as well.

Boat listing and Trim tab question

Thanks for the tab info Dale. Brian, I am still using the old black steel prop that came with my old 225 ox66 original equipment from Parker. I decided to try it on the new motor and it seemed to get performance matching the performance bulletin. I think it is a 13 3/4 by 17 but I need to...

Boat listing and Trim tab question

This may be a dumb question but I have to ask. Repowered my 2310 with a 4 stoke Yamaha 250. Ever since then the boat tends to list to port when running on plane. I have to adjust the tabs some to compensate even when running the boat by myself sitting on the starboard side. The 2 batteries are...

    Brightlights here!!!!!!

Great looking boat! I too have a 1999 2310 and have really enjoyed it . I notice you have some sort of seat or structure just in front of the motor well or "notch" in the transom. What is that? Can you post any other pictures of it? Your helm and companion seat are sitting on boxes that my...

    F200 or new FBW 250

I replaced the 225 ox 66 with the F250 w/ fly by wire controls on my 1999 2310 late fall 2009. Have 115 hours on the motor. I obviously have been very satisfied with the 2310 or I would not have repowered it. Bought the boat new in 2000. The motor and controls have been great. Much better...

    WATER OVER THE TRANSOM

I bought it from Parker and I think it was only about $100. It was several years ago so I don't remember exactly, but I remember thinking it was pretty inexpensive. Your parker dealer could give you a price. I just asked them for a replacement for the original well.

    WATER OVER THE TRANSOM

I have a 2310 with DV and notched transom. The boat came with a curved fiberglass splash guard that rises to about half way up the distance to the top of the transom. I ordered a second splashguard, turned it upside own, and fastened them together like a clam shell. They are fastened by...

    2310 Parker with f225

I have a 1999 2310 with a 2009 F250. I use the same black steel prop that came with the boat on my old 2 stroke Yam 225. I think it is a 15X19. It is the same prop used on the Parker tests of this setup. I believe it is also used on the Yamaha "archived" performance bulletin for the 2310 with...

    13x17 prop on 1801

I have read some threads about the corect prop for the 1801. Mine is a 2006 with t top and bottom paint, both of which slow the boat down. My prop is the stock black steel 13x19. I have seen recommendations for the 13x17 size prop. Have any of you used this prop on the 1801 with a yamaha f115...

    Repower with F250

Striperswiper, sorry for the late reply. Haven't been on the site lately. The least expensive lower unit I know of is an aftermarket one from SEI (stern drive engineering) for about $800 new and complete with waterpump and 3 year waranty. I was very tempted to go that route. I found new F250s...

    Repower with F250

I picked up the boat with the new motor on Friday. The f 250 runs great, has more power, is more fuel efficient, and is much quieter. The command link guages and controls are also very good. Very smooth throttle and shift control. I reused my black ss prop from the ox66 and so far it works...

    1999 Yam 225 hp OX66 for sale

Thanks for responding Dale. I picked up the boat Friday with the new motor and it runs great. So far a big improvement over the 2 stroke. I think you are right to save up for the 2 stroke. I picked Yamaha primarily due to the reputations and availability of the local repair shops. That Suzuki...

    1999 Yam 225 hp OX66 for sale

Purchased 3/2000 new. Yam 225 OX66 2 stroke fuel injected. Used only recreationally. Foot has been removed due to gear problem, can be included. Motor runs great but clip attached to shift shaft came loose and damaged some gears in foot. Would like to net $2000 to help cover cost of new 4 stroke...

    Repower with F250

Thanks for all the help on my previous post about no reverse and no neutral on the ox66. I am excited to be repowering with a new 4 stroke F250 with the command link system. It made more economic sense to replace the foot on the old motor but I have been interested in the 4 strokes for a while...
