1999 Yam 225 hp OX66 for sale

Purchased 3/2000 new. Yam 225 OX66 2 stroke fuel injected. Used only recreationally. Foot has been removed due to gear problem, can be included. Motor runs great but clip attached to shift shaft came loose and damaged some gears in foot. Would like to net $2000 to help cover cost of new 4 stroke power. Purchaser can get new complete foot assembly from SEI for about $800. Would be a good working motor for under $3000.
I will trade in to my installer if no one is interested.

I'm going to pass Bob, saving up $$ for a Suzuki 250hp.

Thanks for responding Dale. I picked up the boat Friday with the new motor and it runs great. So far a big improvement over the 2 stroke. I think you are right to save up for the 2 stroke. I picked Yamaha primarily due to the reputations and availability of the local repair shops. That Suzuki should be great and its lighter too.
