I just responded to another post and think it is probably time to get the real answer.
I have a 1995 1800, I want to compare the height of the gunwales between the 1800 and 1801; as Parker said the 1801 might have higher sides.... by 1". So lets find out.
If someone has an 1801 and a measuring tape, will you please measure the height of your gunwales. For consistency, lets try to measure from the chine to the bottom (underside) of the rub rail, at the rear corner where the side meets the transom.
I should have my boat back in the drive Wednesday and we can compare notes.
