I have run my new to me 2008 2300DVCC boat a few times. It is now very obvious I need bigger trim tabs to hold the bow down in the 3-5 ft. wind waves.

I am trying to decide between installing 12X18 or 12X24 Tabs, any advice from those running either or. If you have upgraded to 12X18 do you wish you had gone to the bigger 12X24?

If I go to 12X24 tabs can I leave the actuator in the existing position and offset the tabs?

I plan on changing prop to the rev 4 17. and still thinking about the permatrim after I change the tabs.

Thanks

topwater26,
The 12 x18's are big enough, thats what I had on my 2300DVCC and I could trim the bow down as much as I wanted, only need to change the blades, you don't really need to move the actuators
