need some advice on wiring of second bilge pump. This is an automaatic pump but it does not seem to be one of the ones that uses power "searching" for water every two minutes. I am planning on putting it on the same platform that the batteries sit on in the aft bilge. OK?
Questions 1. can i wire the ground to the bar with black wires seen in this photo?

Question 2. Can I wire this switch/pump like this?

thanks - the new float switch has been installed since that last photo - what happened is the original connections were under the salt water washdown pump and corroded out...

thanks, dale. How about first question? Can I run ground wire from pump to that bar with black wires? That way I only need to buy a double (14 g?) wire to go to the helm fwd. thanks

Yes, you can ground any 12VDC item to any 'common' ground.
