Well I got her done, along with a link and sync on the motor and new trailer tires etc. There are some minor finishing touches, but we should be good to go for another 12 years. I signed her over to my son for his 25th birthday so we were under the gun!

I used outdoor carpet adhesive on the wood decks and 3M spray adhesive on the aluminum. That stuff will blister your skin if you don't get it off immediatly. Had to drill out all the hinges and re-rivet them back. I am pleased with the seat box solution as the original had a hinge top that was a pain and took up too much room. The wife really worked hard as she scraped off most of the carpet and glue.

Was the old deck glued to the hull? I don't see any fasteners...
 
Stainless steel screws. They were screwed through the old carpet. I reused some of them but had to replace a lot. I used decorative SS collars to keep the screws from burying themselves into the wood.
