i own a 2006 2510 wa. this is the second season and a thick scum line has developed approx 4-5 inches abve the water line. i have checked other parkers and note that the bottom paint line seems to be at the water line to about two inches above on most boats. mine is about an inch above.
a tech at our marina has suggested that i pull the boat, sand to the top of the scum line and paint to that point. that would raise the paint line to 4-5 inches above the water line.
i didn't have this issue last year and i don't think the higher line would look that good. any thoughts.
