I have an 1800 with a fire extinguisher pocket on the left side of the console. Problem is, a new standard Kidde marine fire extinguisher does not fit in the pocket. The neck support is molded into the pocket and the diameter of this support is smaller than the diameter of the new fire extinguisher.
I could file the neck support to make it fit, or replace the entire pocket. However, before I go through all that, does anyone know if the original fire extinguisher is still made? Or pehaps another solution??
