Fuel Tank

I was told today that ethanol will destroy a fiberglass fuel tank within a 10 year span. Does anyone know what the tank construction is on a 2007 Parker 21SE? He also mentioned that ethanol will not affect plastic or stainless tanks. Thanks.

I believe all Parker's come with aluminum tanks and you should not have a problem.

They are aluminum in the newer Parkers.

I've never seen anything but aluminum tanks in Parkers, and that includes the older Sou`westers as well.

Theibis, I called the Parker factory about a 2002 1801 fuel tank a couple of months ago prior to purchasing, and they claim to have used nothing but aluminum for their tanks.
