Hi Everyone,

My wife and I just received our Parker 23se. We absolutely love it!!!
We are both new to motor boating and plan to do most of our boating in Long Island, NY's Great South Bay.

If anyone has any positive advice they would like to share, I would welcome it.

Welcome Joe! After 45 + years on the Great South Bay I still love it. I boat out of Oakdale now and in past years Lindenhurst and Babylon.

Get your self some up to date charts as the GSB is really shallow in spots. Also a good chart plotter will make life easy. Take a Coast Guard course. They are offerred regularly on LI or call your local Power Squadron or Coast Guard Aux.

Where do you boat out of and areas you fish? I may be more specific.
