Hey everyone , I just picked up a real classic project 1987 Sou'wester Parker 25. It has 225 Johnson , second station that is way back and cut, notched transom. The only thing that needs real love is the floor around the the captains chair . It is soft , about a 2 foot by 2 foot area. I want to restore it nice so do I cut it all out or should i drill and epoxy the stringers ? Any input would help LONG LIVE THE PARKER ! I have an 07 21 Sport Cabin which needs nothing so I had to get a project to keep busy this winter...

Kentisland,
I have the same boat as you in an 89 with 200 Yammie. Drop me a PM and compare notes.

My son and I brought her home from Cambridge today ! See ran good , no problems. It looks to be the same exact boat as Sandpiper but not near as clean. I got her out of the water and will get pics but can anyone help me with proper way to repair small soft spot in the floor ? Thanks and have a great Holiday all !

No problem, there is a wealth of knowledge on this site and guys willing to help.

Basically it requires you cut out the deck back to solid wood, fasten it in somehow depending on the situation then re-glass and fair. Pics will help in this situation.

The pictures below are from the Seacraft website but the technique will be similar. Hope this helps to get you started.
