I have a garmin chartplotter as well, the 2010 wich also has that feature, it is nice, dont get me wrong but the add a batt system eliminates the need to switch the batts from one to both all the time, and to be honest it is very easy to install, after you have all the components to the system it might take a couple hours to install.
