Guys,

I was cleaning up my boat to sand and put on a new coat of bottom paint when i came across a chip in the hull on the forward port side about 5" below the water line. I do not recall seeing it when i pulled the boat and cleaned it this past winter. The hole is not all the way in and appears to be about 1/8" - 3/16" in. It is solid all around it and no soft spots. What do i need to do to fix it properly? Help i want to be back on the water.

I have attached a photo of the problem.

Grind out the void, fill with Marine tex. Easy fix.

Looks like there was an air bubble in the gelcoat when the boat was molded, no big deal.
