My starboard Lenco trim tab motor unit went out last summer and I'm finally getting around to replacing it.
Fortunatly it was under warranty. Can't say enough good things about Lenco and what an easy process it was to get the new part sent to me. In fact, they sent me all new parts. The control board, the switch, and the motor!
My question is, does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to make this an easier process?
Also, my new control board has an auto retract wire. Anyone utilizing the auto-retract feature? Where do you connect the AR wire to?
I plan on splicing the new wires to the old wires.
Here is the deck view. I'm assuming the wires from the tab motor run underneath the piece of starboard that's screwed down next to the drain holes? Seems the wires from the motor line up with it.
