Figured out that the engine has to be programed to the controls. I bought that Yamaha diagnostic software and was able to pair the engine with the controls and everything works like its supposed to. It nice to have an engine that doesn't sound like a race car and smoke.

Been busy the past week and a half with work so I haven't made much progress. I can now say the wiring is complete and everything works as it is supposed to. I swapped out my fuel sending unit because it was reading erratic. Hopefully this week I can get some more done on the deck. All of the fiberglass and paint I ordered came it. I need to pick up some marine grade plywood for the front deck still.

I picked up the plywood this past weekend and I got the front deck scanned. I made some progress yesterday and today getting the rough cuts done. I am also adding a front storage area. If I get some time away from my regular time this week, I might be ready to start fiberglassing it all in soon.

I finished getting everything cut and I finished up the first hatch panel yesterday.

I went ahead and got the fiberglass done inside the storage. Both the interior and exterior have the fiberglass done, just getting most of the exterior sanded and it will be ready to go. Both hatch panels are done, I am using a polyurethane paint and it lays out extremely well.

Got a little progress done today. After getting the box smoothed out and primed, I got it set in and started fiberglassing it and the floor box.

Everything is all glassed in just working on getting everything smoothed out. I'm hoping to be painting it all within the next week or two.

Anyone know where I can get this metal trim or some suitable substitute? The ones I have are really past there prime and aren't cleaning up very well.

I was thinking I would replace with some kind of C channel rubber. I also thought about pulling this trim off and just painting it but I don't know how long that would last.

Picked up some starboard yesterday and between sanding, I ran a toolpath and cut new hatches so all of them are white now, ready to assemble now

Nice and neat to have a CNC machine

Yes it is. I'm always finding other uses for it. This one is my third machine with hopes of using it to make a living with at some point.

Hatches are assembled...hoping to be done sanding in the next day or so.
