No New Holes

We're looking for a shallow water depth sounder...needed a place for a second transducer...made a plate from plastic and mounted it using the existing transducer holes and mounted the second transducer to the plate = No New Holes!

I hope that both transducers are operating on different frequencies...
If not, there might be some interference.

I did similar by epoxying a piece of mahogany to the hull. Then the mahagany was coated with 2 coats of epoxy ... she's now one with the hull.

... and no holes in my transom :) !

I did the same with a chunk of starboard when the boat was new. The starboard was mounted with 5200 and 6 well sealed screws. The ducer is mounted to the starboard. When it comes time to change ducers, I don't care about drilling new holes.

I'll see if I can find a pic of it.
