I was thinking of putting outriggers on my Hardtop 23se.

The top was not rigged for these on the orignal install so it will have to come off to weld the support

Was wondering what brand anyone would recommend and about how much i could expect to pay for the installation.

I installed Rupp Top Guns myself on my 23SE. Factory t-top, no problems. I've used them for 5 years now. I think you'd be surprised how thick the top is.

Like you, I thought I needed plates as well. So I brought my boat to a well known and respectable welder in Plymouth and he said there was no need for any welding work. He actually hung all of his weight off of the base unit and he was very impressed in my installation. Take that for what it is.

Is your hardtop the factory one...fiberglass with electronics box?

I fear putting them on my 23 se without welding

When I have just 2 Penn Internation 30's loaded in the rocket launcher I have an enormous amount of flex. I am worried the hard-top cannot support it.

Is it possible we have different hard tops?

Bingo! Ive been waiting to see this for 2 years. Im pumped!

Looks great!

Quick question - does your hardtop/rocket launcher area flex when rods are loaded?

Thanks,

Peter
