. . ...Mike. ..just out of curiosity why you swapping and what are you running now??

.......................reason I ask is... . I had spoke with Ken last winter. Right now I am running a SSII series stainless steel 15 1/4" X 17 and can't get the right RPM's at WOT (yes motor is at proper height). Motor should be able to get 5500 and I can only get 5000. I asked about the Rev4 but he said he does not recommend the one I would need (15x15) due to a very bad slip issue with that particular size :? .. ....instead he recommended a 15 pitch Mercury Enertia.. . ..which I hope to purchase this winter. I recall member Great Catch Charters had decent results with a 15x15 prop. ......we both have a notched transom though. ..

Hey sorry I haven't checked this post in a while.
Im running a 19 right now.
Talking with Ken he said I'm swinging to big of a prop.
Im having the same problem can only get 50-5100 RPM's.
He said the 15 1/2 X 17 will make a big difference.
I am ordering it so I will let you know what i find........ In the spring
