I just got this 2120 last fall. Work has been busy, but I'm slowly working on projects. The steering has been really sloppy, but coming from a flat bottom skiff I thought maybe that was the nature of a V hull. Friday, I bled the steering system. What a difference! It's a completely different boat, now. When I took the cap off the helm I couldn't see any oil in it, so I knew it had air in it.

I was having SeaStar steering issues and knew it needed bleeding... Here are a couple videos about using the Bubble Purge system; It worked great. I used to do it the 'old way' which wasted a lot of hydraulic fluid. How did you bleed yours?

I got the bubble purge outfit. It's low on oil and needs bleeding again, so I got new gland seals to put on it. Obviously leaking a bit.
