I have an appointment with my dealer for the new 2520 I just bought regarding my electronic package I want they are strickly RayMarine products and was wondering can you put a goldthru hull on the boat do they have to cut your floor on the boat.I've always had transom mount transducers on my other boats, but I here If you can get a thru hull you get better readings would appreciate any feed back. Thanks Parker Owners.

Megabyte (Kevin) will chime in here I'm sure. He has a pic of the perfect placement on his 2520 for the Airmar b60 thru hull. Easy install.

Here is the photo that Jim spoke of. It is an Airmar 'tilted element' transducer that was installed 2 years ago. It is hooked to a Furuno FCV600L in my ride, but you can order the transducer to connect to any brand of bottom machine. Airmar covers them all.

So far, the transducer has been flawless.
