I purchased a gps trolling motor to install during the off season. I have seen a few mounting ideas but my question is this. Has anyone ever mounted a TM on the pulpit. I was thinking about removing the anchor and storing it in the cabin. (I rarely use the anchor anyway). I'll have it on board in case of emergency. Looking for some input on this. Attached is a pic of the approximate location I'm considering. I will modify the rail so that's the least of my concern.
