hello everyone, trashman here again.

I will be taking a delivery on a brand new 2320 pilot house soon. I got it from Tristate Marine, nice people. Since the boat will be tied at the pier I was wondering what kind of line should I be using. My last boat was 36' Trojan 25 years ago and now I have a little 16' aluminum Strarcraftt so I am a little bit rusty. thanks :)

Tri-State will be tossing in a kit that includes a couple of docklines, probably 3/8" or 1/2" twist, with a spliced loop at one end. They'll be adequate if they are long enough. Braided line feels nicer than twist, but it really doesn't make a whole lot of difference under usual conditions. You'll want to get some extras for spring lines, etc.
