Has anyone with the newer style center consoles had a problem with the fluch mounted switches leaking badly when you clean the boat? I even cover mine with a towel and try to just mist that area, but the amount of water that leaks into my console and all over the wires is kind of disappointing. I am pretty sure it is the switches and not the gauges. And I think its the switches themselves because the panel that the switches are part of seems pretty well bedded and sealed around the edges Anyone else experiencing this? Any fix to this? thanks

Yes, I had drips from rain water at the switch panel too. The panel was not sealed just mounted so water and gravity made for drips in the console. It was easy to just remove the mounting screws of the panel, seal with a non-adhesive sealer. This stopped most major drips. I had one little left but adding canvas made it water tight for good.
