My current windlass says he's getting too old to pull the anchor for another season. The research begins....
Boat is a Parker 2320. Anchor rig is a 16# claw, 30' of chain, and 300' of rode. Typical anchorages are Catalina and San Clemente 15'-150'. Usually a two man crew, but occasional solo trips, as well as kid trips with no supplemental competant crew.
