Yami 300hp

Hi All!

There is a rumor going around that Yamaha will soon be releasing a V6 300HP 4-stroke. Possibly confirmed by some?

Any thoughts on a single 300hp being plenty for a 25 DV? I am possibly interested in the CC DV one of these days but if it is enough for a SCDV or WADV it will surely be plenty for the lighter CCDV.

I am thinking a single ~650lb 300 would be a great option over a pair of 150hps or a single V8!

I have heard of this. But like many things do not like to be the guinea pig for new products. I would rather buy something older that has been tested. I would think a 350 would be nice on a 25dv because of the extra torque you get with the v8. Either that or the suzuki 300 which suzukis are supposed to be known more for torquey engines.
