    You can run the Mercury props with no problem as long as you use the correct thust hub and kit. I can not remember what the part #s were but I use a Mercury type IV on my Mirage 15 1/4 X 19. On Yamaha F250.

    Parker hull/prop database

    25 SE center console with new F250 (3.3 litre block) running a 15 1/4 x 19 Mercury Mirage wheel WOT 5950rpms at 50 mph. Cruise at 3700 rpms at 30 miles an hour. Anywhere between 3500 and 3700 rpms. is over 4 mpg. with the right seas and wind best was 4.5 mpg.

    I am running a mirage 15 1/4 x 19 on my 25 SE and am turning 5950rpms. So you would need at least a 15 1/4 x 17 if not a 15.
